Before I update you with new roms for ninja a87.
I would like to tell what is rom for beginners.

What is ROM ?

If you own an Android device, or for that matter visit any Android-related news site then you will have heard about ROMs. Though a lot of people catch onto what ROMs are, for some people it’s not such an easy thing to get your head around. If you aren’t quite sure what a ROM is, hopefully I will clear things up for you today.

Basically , The term ROM is misused because ROM’s were storage chips consisting of Read-Only-Memory. You couldn’t modify it. The term which is closer to being correct with reference to Android, is Firmware. You can easily replace it all, if you choose to.

 ROMS are of TWO types :

1. Stock roms - A Stock ROM is basically a frimware which were provided by the Manufacturer of the phone with their own features and tweaks, which may be lack of good features or may be not, it depends on the company as you all know micromax cant beat samsung,lg,etc in build quality and feature wise.

2. Custom roms - A custom ROM is one that has undergone any modification from being a pure distribution of Android by Devs. Whether to add features they come up with, or to redistribute it with fun tweaks and additions. Overall the way to changing the homescreen, background services, and default software.

Which is Good for NINJA A87 ?

You might be thinking which rom would be best for our ninja a87 i.e stock or custom ?

So as a user and rom developer i will suggest CUSTOM ROM is better then the STOCK ROM as they are tweaked, provided with new features, new themes, and performance that are not easily available in STOCK ROM..

 

NEW LAUNCHER with no lags n consumes no ram , try it...

Heyyyy.... ninja4 lovers, hows ur ninja ???? well i had founded in
SETTINGS > APPLICATIONS > RUNNING APPS > mmlabs.launcher
consumes upto 13 mb RAM. Didnt you checked ?? check it , if so
; then what to do???

well dont worry guys here is the solution -

In my recents reseacrhs i found many launchers such ez,adw,go,holo,etc.
n these all are similar to mmlabs.launcher in cosuming rams some low some high.

BUT now i am goin to give you a launche which consumes no ram,
even it dosent show that it is running in background or not, less memory,light,
lovable, efficient launcher.

LAUNCHER - SONY XPERIA LAUNCHER. i.e xperia home.

Well this launcher is totally based on sony launchers but with few modifiactions
so that they run on non-sony mobile phone.

After installing launcher, i found -

1. Total size - 724 Kb
    cache - 0.00 b

 

2. In running apps - Its not showing that any launcher is working or not means lil bit more ram :)

How To Use Themes In Ninja 4

Hey, Guys . Now you can easily install themes in NINJA 4 and you can enjoy new UI. But you have to follow below steps to apply themes.

1. Firstly you have to download LAUNCHERS for installing and applying the new themes. I will suggest you to INSTALL
               i) ADW LAUNCHER (recomended as uses low memory with simple and cool themes)
               ii) EZ LAUNCER (moderate as its beta version and awesome and cool theme)
               iii) GO LAUNCHER (not so recomended as it uses large memory but large amount of themes avaliable)

DOWNLOAD -  ADW LAUNCHER | EZ LAUNCER | GO LAUNCHER

2. After downloading these launchers from GOOGLE PLAY. Open the launchers. If your homescreen and menu UI(i.e default theme) had been changed then it means it is working.

3. Now simply download new themes from Google Play with respect to the launchers.
    If you are using ADW LAUNCHER then install themes of ADW only not for other launcher.
    ENJOY :)

NOTE - 

When You press Home button then it will ask you to choose launcher(i.e ADW LAUNCHER and MICRO.LABS LAUNCHER) then tick on BY DEFAULT option then choose that LAUNCHER that you have been installed not micromax launcher.

Some themes will ask you to download widgets so it depends on you which widgets you want to show on the screen, default widgets can also be used.
